ASM Boston Chapter is celebrating our 100th Year!
Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Hear Ye!
Calling on all ASM Boston Chapter Members to share your Chapter stories, photos, personal and company accomplishments and Chapter memorabilia with us – your 100 year anniversary planning committee. Yes, our Chapter is officially 100 years old having signed the original charter on February 15, 1920. We are planning a celebration later this year so we need your help. Nothing will be too small or too large to be considered for our collection. You will have a choice of contributing your item to our permanent collection or have it returned to you after our celebration in October. Check out some collection highlights on our Memorabilia page! We’ve included some photos of programs from previous events. Also is included a March 5, 1948 article from the Tech on Professor I.H. Cowdrey, our Chapter’s second Chair from 1921-1922. Amongst his numerous career recognitions is this dubious award bestowed upon him in 1948 during his tenure at MIT. Over the coming months we will be posting more photos, stories and such on our website. Enjoy the walk down memory lane. For those who would like to contribute to our 100 year collection please contact Ms. Jean Mozolic via email. We need all contributions by May 15! Thank you for being a part of the long and rich history of the ASM Boston Chapter and for contributing to its future. The ASM Boston Chapter 100 Year Anniversary Planning Committee Our Chapter's 100th Anniversary is February 2020. Save the Date! Our 100th Anniversary Celebration will be October 15, 2020 at the Hyatt Regency in Cambridge. |
