Student Lightning Talk Competition

About the Event
Boston-area Graduate and Undergraduate researchers in Materials Science and related fields are invited to compete in ASM Boston’s Student Lightning Talk Competition! 
Participants will present a 2-minute talk with slides on their research to a panel of industry and academic professionals, as well as peers and other audience members. Talks will be judged based on clarity of topic and quality of oral and visual presentation. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will be announced at the end of the competition.
Whether you are a seasoned presenter or have never presented before, we encourage everyone to take this opportunity to practice presentation skills, as well as gain valuable feedback, connect with other researchers, and network with professionals in your field!
