The Boston Chapter welcomes Boston-area ASM Members and the general public to our technical meetings and special events.

Our Purpose

ASM Boston advances scientific, engineering, technical and practical knowledge, particularly with respect to the manufacture, treatment, selection and use of engineered materials, through education, research and the compilation and dissemination of information useful to the individual and beneficial to the general public.

Who We Are

Membership in the Boston Chapter is composed of everyone meeting the requirements of ASM International who have been assigned to the Chapter, either at their own request, or by ASM International for geographical reasons.

Activities and programming are carried out by the Chapter's Executive Committee.
